Editorial policy

CoatingsMagazine aims to present factual information clearly and identify the sources supporting technical claims. Published work should distinguish reported findings, estimates, opinion and manufacturer statements.

Contributors should be identified by an accurate byline and disclose relevant affiliations and commercial interests. The house byline CoatingsMagazine Editorial identifies publication-produced material; it does not imply external peer review.

Factual corrections and source clarifications may be sent to editorial@coatingsmagazine.com with the article URL, the point in question and supporting evidence. A substantive correction should be identified on the affected article. No response time or external review is promised.

Independent editorial material and commercial material should be distinguishable. Sponsored, commissioned or client-funded content must disclose that relationship. A company’s commercial relationship with the publication does not, by itself, control independent editorial conclusions.

Technical information is general information. It does not replace project-specific engineering, applicable standards or manufacturer requirements.
